Tall Tales Literature PocketsJun 16, 2010

I have been doing a tall tales unit in my class for several years. I liked this book though. Especially the "why is it a tall tale" pages for each story. The stories were interesting to all levels of readers in my class.

Great Unit!Jun 21, 2006
By Kristen I teach 5th grade and I used this for the first time last fall. The stories are great and many of the activities are cute. Some are a little silly so I supplemented with graphic organizers, etc. I really like the overall concept and the folders enable the kids to keep all their info together.
Like I said, the only thing I wasn't crazy about was some of the activities. The kids, though, had fun with the pocket format.
